QLD:Police launch search in Morcombe case
Queensland police are preparing to search bushland on the Sunshine Coast for the body
of missing teenager DANIEL MORCOMBE.
Nearly eight years after the 13-year-old disappeared while waiting for a bus, police
arrested a 41-year-old man last night and charged him with DANIEL's murder.
A police spokesman can't confirm reports he's a truck driver referred to as P7 by investigators.
The man remains in police custody and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow,
also charged with deprivation of liberty, child stealing, indecent treatment of a child,
and interfering with a corpse.
DANIEL'S shattered parents say they're hopeful their son's body will be found.
