Qld: Tilt train services disrupted
Mechanical problems have disrupted tilt train services between Brisbane and Rockhampton.
A Queensland Rail spokeswoman says the 5.30am (AEST) Rockhampton to Brisbane service
was cancelled .. after a maintenance check detected a mechanical fault.
And the 11am (AEST) Brisbane to Rockhampton service also had to be cancelled.
The tilt train's now being inspected by Queensland Rail at Rockhampton .. and services
are expected to resume tomorrow.
Passengers are being transported by bus in the meantime.
